Liberty, Missouri — February 1, 2026 — Pony Express Bank, a family-owned community bank headquartered in Liberty, Missouri, announced today that Lynsey Page Waldman has been promoted to Executive Vice President, effective February 1, 2026.
In her new role, Waldman will provide executive leadership across retail banking, operations, digital banking, marketing and brand strategy, human resources, culture, and strategic planning. Waldman has been with Pony Express Bank since September 2012, most recently serving as Vice President of Marketing & HR. She brings more than 13 years of experience and has directly influenced nearly every area of the organization. A fifth-generation community banker, she represents the continuation of a family legacy rooted in relationship-driven banking, local decision-making, and long-term commitment to the communities the Bank serves.
“Lynsey’s promotion recognizes her exceptional leadership, consistency, and dedication to our customers and employees,” said Scott Page, President & CEO of Pony Express Bank. “She has played a central role in strengthening our operation, developing our people, and guiding the Bank through important periods of change. Her leadership reflects the values that have defined Pony Express Bank for generations.”
Throughout her tenure, Waldman has played a key role in major operational and technology initiatives, including helping lead the Bank’s 2025 core software conversion. This complex, bank-wide effort modernized Pony Express Bank’s technology platform while minimizing customer disruption and improving long-term efficiency and scalability.
Known for her ability to execute while empowering others, Waldman has focused on building standardized processes, mentoring internal talent, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Her leadership style emphasizes empathy, professionalism, and clear communication, contributing to a strong and resilient organization.
“Community banking is about treating people as names, not numbers,” Waldman said. “I’m proud to work for a bank that invests in its employees, serves its customers with integrity, and remains deeply connected to the community. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me and am excited to continue building on the strong foundation we have in place.”
Waldman lives in Liberty with her husband, their two children, and their dog, Izzy. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego, where she earned a business degree. She is also a graduate of the 2015–2016 Banking Leadership Missouri program, where she served seven years on the Missouri Bankers Association Young Bankers Leadership Board, including two noted terms as Chairwoman. Earlier in her career, she was involved with organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the Junior League of Kansas City, and the Liberty Hospital Foundation’s Regional Advisory Council, reflecting her commitment to community service.
