Here’s how you qualify!

Every month you qualify for Kasasa Cash or Cash back rewards, you automatically qualify for the higher rate on your Kasasa saver too! Simply make sure the following activities and transactions post and settle in your free Kasasa checking account during each monthly qualification cycle:

  • At least 1 direct deposit or ACH payment transaction
  • At least 12 debit card purchases
  • Be enrolled in Online Banking to obtain your monthly statement

That's it. Even if you don't meet your qualifications during the cycle, your Kasasa accounts are still free. Plus, you'll still earn our base interest rate on Kasasa Saver. And you can get right back to earning your full rewards the very next month!

Rates, rewards, and bonuses, if any, are variable and may change after account is opened; rates may change without notice to you at our discretion. No minimum balance is required to earn or receive the account's rewards. Rewards less than a penny cannot be distributed. Fees may reduce earnings.

Qualification Information: Account transactions and activities may take one or more days to post and settle to the account and all must do so during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in order to qualify for the account's rewards/interest. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit card purchases processed by merchants and received by our bank as ATM transactions, and purchases made with debit or credit cards not issued by our bank. Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by our institution as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning account rewards. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning one (1) day prior to the first banking day of the current statement cycle through one (1) day prior to the last banking day of the current statement cycle. Reward Information: When your Kasasa Cash account qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, daily balances up to and including $15,000 in your Kasasa Cash account earn an interest rate of 1.01% resulting in an APY* of 1.01%; and daily balances over $15,000 earn an interest rate of 0.25% on the portion of the daily balance over $15,000 resulting in a range from 1.01% to 0.35% APY depending on the account's daily balance. In addition, daily balances up to and including $35,000 in your Kasasa Saver account earn an interest rate of 0.51% resulting in an APY of 0.51% and daily balances over $35,000 earn an interest rate of 0.25% on the portion of the daily balance over $35,000. resulting in a range from 0.51% to 0.32% APY depending on the Kasasa Saver account's daily balance. When your Kasasa Cash qualifications are not met, the interest rate earned on the account's entire daily balance will be 0.03% resulting in a non-compounding annual percentage yield of 0.03% and ATM withdrawal fees are not refunded. In addition, the entire daily balance in the Kasasa Saver account earns an interest rate of 0.03% resulting in an annual percentage yield of 0.03%. Interest will be credited to your Kasasa Cash and Kasasa Saver accounts on the last day of the current statement cycle. APY = Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 07/13/2023. Note: When linked to a Kasasa Saver account, the interest earned within the Kasasa Cash account does not compound since it, along with any nationwide ATM withdrawal fee reimbursements are, automatically transferred to the Kasasa Saver account within one day.

When Kasasa Cash Back qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, you will receive 4.00% cash back on debit card purchases that post and settle to the account during that cycle period. A maximum of $8.00 in cash back payments may be earned per Monthly Qualification Cycle. In addition, daily balances up to and including $35,000 in your Kasasa Saver account earn an interest rate of 0.51% resulting in an APY of 0.51% and daily balances over $35,000 earn an interest rate of 0.25% on the portion of the daily balance over $35,000 resulting in a range from 0.51% to 0.32% APY depending on the Kasasa Saver account's daily balance. The cash back payments and nationwide ATM withdrawal fee reimbursements earned in your Kasasa Cash Back account will be credited to your Kasasa Saver account on the last day of the current statement cycle. When your Kasasa Cash Back account qualifications are not met, no cash back payments are made and ATM withdrawal fees are not refunded. In addition, the entire daily balance in the Kasasa Saver account earns an interest rate of 0.03% resulting in an annual percentage yield of 0.03% APY.  APY = Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 07/13/2023.

ATM REIMBURSEMENTS: When your Kasasa Cash or Cash Back account qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, you will receive reimbursements up to an aggregate total of $10.00 ($4.99 per single transaction) for nationwide ATM withdrawal fees incurred within your Kasasa Cash or Cash Back accounts during that Monthly Qualification Cycle. We reimburse ATM withdrawal fees based on estimates when the withdrawal information we receive does not identify the ATM withdrawal fee. If you have not received an appropriate reimbursement, we will adjust the reimbursement amount if we receive the transaction receipt within sixty (60) calendar days of the withdrawal transaction.  Nationwide ATM withdrawal fee reimbursements will be credited to your account on the last day of the current statement cycle. NOTE: ATM fee reimbursements only apply to Kasasa Cash and Kasasa Cash Back transactions via ATM; Kasasa Saver ATM transaction fees are not reimbursed nor refunded.

Additional Information: You will automatically qualify for the high rate of interest for the first monthly qualification cycle after account opening. Account approval, conditions, qualifications, limits, timeframes, enrollments, log-ons and other requirements apply. $100 minimum deposit is required to open a Kasasa Cash, Kasasa Cash Back or a Kasasa Saver Account. There are no recurring monthly maintenance charges or fees to open or close this account. Monthly Direct Deposit/ACH credit, enrollment in online banking to obtain your monthly statement, and 12 debit card purchases that post and settle during the current statement cycle are conditions of this account. If you close your Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account, we reserve the right to close your Kasasa Saver account. If you close your account before your interest or rewards are credited, you will not receive the interest or rewards. We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the balance in the account each day. Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit noncash items (for example, checks). Transfers from a Kasasa Saver account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, telephone, or computer transfer or by check, draft, debit card, or similar order to third parties are limited to six per monthly qualification cycle.
