You are required to read and accept the terms and conditions below to change your statement delivery preferences. By checking the box or signing below and submitting this information, you are agreeing to the terms of the agreement.
Pony Express Bank reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, effective upon publication. By accepting the terms of this agreement, you hereby authorize Pony Express Bank to provide notification of periodic account statements and other periodic or special notices/disclosures to you by electronic means. Furthermore, you agree your computer satisfies the hardware and software requirements within the disclosure.
By enrolling in eStatements you will no longer receive a periodic paper statement sent by U.S. Mail for your selected accounts. In most cases 12 of eStatements will be available for viewing online (less if your account has not been open for 12). eStatements are currently only available for deposit account statements (checking, savings and money market). Not all types of accounts generate a monthly statement, some may be quarterly or annually only. If you have questions regarding your available eStatement dates, please contact us. Certificate of Deposit interest/disclosure and maturity notices and certain other account notices will continue to be mailed via U.S. Mail, even if you enroll in eStatements.
In order to view your statements online, you will need a valid e-mail address, a computer with access to the Internet, access to your Online Banking account, Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or above (which is available to download free of charge) and a printer if you wish to print your statements. It is up to you to retain your statements just as you would paper statements. Those can be saved to your personal computer for future reference if you choose not to print them. Research fees may apply if we are asked to reproduce statements that have been sent electronically, that are no longer available online to you.
You will receive a monthly e-mail notification from Pony Express Bank for each account when your eStatement is available for viewing in Online Banking. You may modify your e-mail address or alternate e-mail address for each account at any time by contacting Pony Express Bank. If your e-mail is returned as undeliverable, an attempt will be made to contact you. If contact cannot be made, we will discontinue your eStatements and a paper copy of your statement will be sent by U.S. mail to the last address we have on record for you. If your account is one that receives benefits or reduced fees because you receive your statement electronically, and due to non-delivery, we send you a paper statement via U.S. mail, those benefits or reduced fees will no longer apply. You can re-enroll in eStatements once we are able to verify a valid email address.
You must promptly review your eStatement and any accompanying items and notify us within the applicable time periods specified in your deposit agreement of any error, alteration or other irregularity. Any applicable time periods within which you must notify us of any errors on your account statement(s) shall begin on the e-mail date regardless of when you receive and/or open the eStatement.
You agree it is your sole responsibility to protect your computer from unauthorized access. The Bank will not be liable for any unauthorized access to your personal computer or your eStatements. If you believe that someone has obtained access to your eStatement without your permission, contact one of our Customer Service Representatives, in person at any branch location or call at 816-781-9200 between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm.
I have read and agree to the terms of this agreement and I would like to receive eStatement delivery. I understand that for the accounts enrolled in eStatements and any other accounts that are combined for statement delivery, I will no longer receive a periodic paper statement sent by U.S. Mail.
Pony Express Bank reserves the right to use the above information to obtain verifications of identity and background before opening any accounts. We may also access information about you from a consumer reporting agency, such as a copy of your credit report, before opening any account. By submitting this form, I/we grant full permission to do so.
