Qualifications:

Every month you qualify for Kasasa Cash rewards, you automatically qualify for the Saver rate too. Simply do the following each monthly qualification cycle:


  • Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and settle
  • Have at least 1 automatic payment or direct deposit post and settle
  • Be enrolled and receive eStatement notice

If you don't qualify during a cycle, don't worry!


There's no penalty for not qualifying in a given monthly qualification cycle and the accounts are still free. Plus you'll still earn a base rate of 0.03% APY* on your Kasasa Cash account which will be automatically deposited into your Kasasa Saver account which will also earn earn a base rate of 0.03% APY*. You can get right back to making 1.01% APY* on your free Kasasa Cash checking account and earning 0.51% APY* on your free Kasasa Saver account plus enjoy ATM fee refunds** the next cycle you qualify.

For Kasasa Cash, if qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1) Domestic ATM fees incurred during qualification cycle will be reimbursed up to $25 and credited to account on the last day of monthly statement cycle; (2) balances up to $15,000 receive APY of 1.01%; and (3) balances over $15,000 earn 0.25% interest rate on the portion of the balance over $15,000, resulting in 1.01% - 0.35% APY depending on the balance. If qualifications in Kasasa Cash are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1) balances up to $35,000 in Kasasa Saver receive an APY of 0.51%; and (2) balances over $35,000 in Kasasa Saver earn 0.25% interest rate on portion of balance over $35,000, resulting in 0.51% - 0.32% APY depending on the balance. If qualifications are not met on Kasasa Cash, all balances in Kasasa Saver earn 0.03% APY. Transfers between accounts do not count as qualifying transactions. Limit one account per SSN.
